Working as a seaman is a rewarding job especially if assigned to an oceangoing international vessel.
Filipino mariners comprise more than 25 percent of the 1.5 million mariners worldwide, making them the “single biggest nationality bloc” in the global shipping industry according to the Department of Labor and Employment as of 2016.
But in order to land a good offshore job, one must also select the best manning and manpower agency. Failing to select the best maritime manpower agency could result in a disaster, especially when untoward incidents happen.
In this article, we provide the 10 best manning agencies awarded by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) as consistent good performers for more than 10 years now. This list also includes other companies that have good records and also received other awards from POEA.
You can find each of the company’s applications and vacancy links at the end of each description.
