Di Na Natuto (Sorry na, Puwede ba?) is a 1993 Filipino romantic-action movie directed by Eddie Rodriguez, starring Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta. Produced by Viva Films, the film’s title is a combination of the two hit love songs, “Di Na Natuto” by Danny Javier and Rey Valera’s “Sorry, Pwede ba” which were also the movie’s official soundtracks.
Di Na Natuto (Sorry Na Pwede Ba?) Movie Plot
The movie follows the love triangle of Carlota, a poor country girl played by Sharon Cuneta, and her two suitors, the Mondragon brothers Ysmael and Bongbong played by Robin Padilla and Edu Manzano respectively. Ysmael came home from Manila after getting kicked out of school while his brother Bongbong was preparing to run for Governor. Both were fighting for Carlota’s hand although eventually, it became apparent that Carlota had eyes only for Ysmael.
Trouble started when Bongbong wrongly accused his brother on a failed assassination attempt which led to Ysmael being disowned by his father and getting kicked out of the house. Things further escalated when Bongbong finds out how he was actually adopted and not a real Mondragon. Fueled by rage, Bongbong tries to poison his father and kidnaps Carlota and her siblings after killing their mother. Ysmael along with his friend Turing, goes to the rescue in an attempt to save Carlota and her siblings from his older brother.
